How do I apply Basebeton Grit?
Basebeton Grit is applied in two layers: first, the TechStone 2K layer as a base for strong adhesion, followed by the Basa 2K layer as a finish for a wear-resistant, robust finish. A spack knife or flexible trowel is recommended for even distribution.
How long does it take to apply and dry Basebeton Grit?
The first layer (TechStone 2K) has a drying time of 4 to 6 hours, depending on room temperature. After applying the second layer (Basa 2K), a drying time of 16 to 24 hours is needed. For full curing, we recommend avoiding load on the surface for a few days.
Is special maintenance required for Basebeton Grit?
To maintain its appearance and durability, we recommend the Stone Age maintenance kit, which includes the PU Cleaner and SA PU Protect Mat. This will help preserve the look and longevity of the Basebeton Grit finish.
